Glistening on the social arena – she has got this fairy tale coat which she can turn inside out and thus become fabulous in clusters of three people or more. Her smile widens with a tantalizing sheen. She is a Tintomara character, mysterious and elusive. As long as she wears her cloak, she can get any human creature, man or woman or in between.
On the home arena she is not interested in people at all. She has got a bed which is not for copulation but for profuse reading. Characters in books are less demanding than real people and they have the endearing trait of dying now and then.
She has got a desk which she uses for her writings on caterpillars. Every so often she sends off a wad of papers to the Society of Natural History. Then she turns the cape inside out and strides, lucious and seductive, into the night of the beautiful and the famous.
Is she an entomologist who appears to be a nightfly? An avid reader of fiction who doubles as a bug collector? Or an outgoing woman of some reputation whose real identity is to read about people, for fear of meeting them?
